TESTING SERVICES
Southeast Diversified Services Company, Inc. has the equipment to perform a wide range to testing services.
1. Pipeline and Station Hydrostatic Testing Services
a. SEDSCO pressure testing equipment and procedures comply with the following Codes and Standards governing pipeline pressure testing:
49 CFR Parts 192, 193, and 195
ANSI B31.1, B31.2, B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section I, IV & VIII
ASTM Standards where applicable
b. SEDSCO pressure testing equipment list:
Mobile Testing Trailer - Wells Cargo Model TW101 Trailer with side & rear doors and trailer mounted hydrostatic test header
Deadweight Tester - Chandler Engineering Company, Inc. Model 02-001N-B-T, Range 50 – 3,000 psi
Chart Recorder - Palmer Model 384/385, 8” two pen, 0-3000 psi and 0-150 degrees F, 24 hour, portable chart recorder
Pressure Calibrator - Meriam Merical II, Portable Pressure Calibrator, with (2) Sensors, 0-200’ WC and 0-2000 psi
2. Pipe Coating System Testing Services
a. SEDSCO pipe coating system testing equipment and procedures comply with NACE Standard RP-02-74, “High Voltage Electrical Inspection of Pipeline Coatings Prior to Installation”.
b. SEDSCO testing equipment list:
Tinker & Rasor Model AP/W Holiday Detector with 2” through 24” Full Circle Electrodes
3. Pipeline Dew Point Testing Services
Most power generating facilities require the drying and testing of newly installed pipelines to ensure the initial quality of the piping prior to the introduction of pipeline quality natural gas. SEDSCO can provide subcontractors to dry and test newly completed facilities to SEDSCO and/or customer standards.
